About The Owner

My name is Shawnee, and I am the owner and creator of Fellowship of the Fluff. I am a work-at-home mom of two wonderful children. My youngest is cloth diapered, and with the difficulty of finding clothing that fit comfortably over his diaper but was not oversized, I decided to start making my own clothing for him. Very quickly I realized how much I love creating clothing, and that my skills from my teenage years of being an aspiring fashion designer had not faded over time. I started creating clothing first for friends, and then, in January 2022, I opened Fellowship of the Fluff. With the support of my husband, family, and friends, my company blossomed. I love creating new patterns that fit needs that are not met by many places on the market. Clothing that fits over years rather than months, turning a regular sweatshirt pattern into a nursing top, adding snaps to make parts of clothing removable that are usually permanent. Those projects bring me such joy and excitement.
